June 2017 // Days 169 - 175

June 18th. Day 169.
There is like a sea of purple in my parents garden! The bees love it.

June 19th. Day 170.
It's that sky shot again...meaning I didn't get the chance to take any other photos!

June 20th. Day 171.
A great example of nature taking over man made structures.

June 21th. Day 172.
Another day of failing to get a nice photo on my way to or from my jobs. This is in my 'garden'.

June 22nd. Day 173.
I've really been wanting to capture the majority of the species of birds we get here, during these 30 days wild, and a Collared Dove was on the cards the past couple days so I was pretty happy snapping this guy as I walked home from job #1.
However, on the way home from job #2 I ended up on a mini 'rescue' mission of sorts when I had to help this gorgeous 2ish week old abandoned Herring Gull.

June 23rd. Day 174.
I got such a cute posy photo of this guy back on Thursday of last week but ended up using the one of the Canada Geese instead as you never know how often they are gonna pop by. So I was super glad to see our (what I assume is just a very white) Greylag Goose had graced us with it's presence again today. Even if it did spend the whole time I was there preening.

June 24th. Day 175.
Jake and I had a day in Edinburgh together today. That doesn't happen often. It was a little disappointing that we ended up with rubbish weather as we'd planned to enjoy the gardens a little more than we managed to. I did get to snap a Treecreeper though! Cute!

June 2017 // Days 162 - 168

June 11th. Day 162.
Weeds are pretty flowers too.

June 12th. Day 163.
Well I thought the light shining through the 'windmills' that I used to play with as a kid would make a pretty photo for today...but then on the way home from job #2 the 3 young otters showed face again. I am beyond lucky to get to experience magical moments like seeing young otters in the wild right by where I live <3

June 13th. Day 164.
I caught another creature on camera that I've been trying to for a while - a stunning little Dunnock!

June 14th. Day 165.
Diving Cormorants forever making me look twice in case it's actually an otter! Lovely birds to watch on their own though.

June 15th. Day 166.
I love when the flocks or Canada Geese (or occasionally the Pink Footed Geese) stop by. Look how majestic this show off looks after his preening sesh.

June 16th. Day 167.
!! ATTENTION !! Adorable male Blackbird holding a tiny flower!!!! Cuteness overload!

June 17th. Day 168.
Mama gull feeding baby seagulls while daddy gull sleeps and the fake plastic owl that is meant to scare them off, looks on in despair ha.

June 2017 // Days 155 - 161

June 4th. Day 155.
Spent ages trying to get just one shot of the swifts who are nesting on a house near my parents.

June 5th. Day 156.
Mizzely day = not much around to photograph on the way home from work.

June 6th. Day 157.
Another rainy day brought lots of these canny guys to our garden <3

June 7th. Day 158.
You have no idea how excited I was to see this beauty!!! I spotted her a week or two ago but didn't have my camera and have kept my eye out everytime I pass this spot. She was there today and sat posing for a good little while. Thank you Mrs Thrush!!

June 8th. Day 159.
Guess what the weather was again today? I didn't even get completely soaked on the way to work or anything.

June 9th. Day 160.
It's been a while since we've had a Mallard Thursday! Well this week it's on a Friday...

June 10th. Day 161.
Posing pal at 6am, looking a lot better than I do at that time!

June 2017 // Days 148 - 154

May 28th. Day 148.
Sums up the recent weather. Glorious...with a looming storm ready to drop at any moment.

May 29th. Day 149.
One of those 'had nothing to photograph' days.
May 30th. Day 150.
Bloomin beautiful sights while walking home from work.

May 31st. Day 151.
I was lucky enough to get to see three young otters playing in the river as I walked home from job #1 this morning. Typically, I didn't have my camera. All I was able yo photograph walking home from job #2 was a Heron a little too far away for my lens...

June 1st. Day 152.
Bunny bum biscuit!

June 2nd. Day 153.
Handsome couple wondering what the giant clicking thing I was pointing at them was.

June 3rd. Day 154.
Attempting to make every photo (minus #1) in June an outdoor shot in honor of 30 Days Wild. It was a gloomy, light rain, sun behind the clouds kind of day but this bee was still working hard in my back 'garden'.
