November 2015 // Days 323 - 329

November 19th. Day 323.
I bought a couple of Christmas decorations. I am one of those people screaming inside that it is no where near Christmas and the songs in stores and people counting the days are far too early, but technically I only bought them and haven't put them up so that's okay. Okay?

November 20th. Day 324.
Homemade lentil soup time yo!

November 21st. Day 325.
Can't believe these finally arrived today. The time is getting closer. Excited, scared, nervous. I know you have all seen it multiple times, but London is like 350 miles away and it costs a lot to get there and have a place to stay. (FYI I have edited out the date and time we are going, safety reasons ya know!)

November 22nd. Day 326.
This image pretty much sums up our household. All it needs is a dog toy to complete it to be honest.

November 23rd. Day 327.
I know what I just said about Christmas....

November 24th. Day 328.
Yeah. I did it again.

November 25th. Day 329.
So I had to go to A&E but thankfully it wasn't serious. I still had to get little tablets though and for someone who doesn't take any sort of medication/drugs besides liquid Piriton, and can'r swallow tablets either, it's not the most fun. In comes Rocco! See last weeks post for my views on 'broken biscuits'.

November 2015 // Days 316 - 322

Nov 12th. Day 316.
Back to the Thursday routine of meeting Mam after work and popping over to town, tonight we went to out semi-regular watering hole. I don't drink hot drinks so of course the Cranberry and Raspberry drink is mine. Mam picked me up a gingerbread man too but when she saw it was broken went to put it back. I said not to because most people don't want broken things and others would put it back too, but it doesn't effect how it tastes and I felt sorry for him still smiling even with a broken neck.

Nov 13th. Day 317.
These actually arrived yesterday but for some reason were taken next door instead of to us and they only brought them round after 7pm when I was already getting sorted for bed. So, here they are. My 2016 calendars.
I still have 7 for sale so please do get in touch if you'd like one. I have the full list of photos included too if you'd like to see them before buying. They are £10.00 plus postage.

Nov 14th. Day 318.
I woke at 6am, after having gone to sleep at 9pm, to the horrific news of the previous nights events in Paris. I walked to work feeling physically sick and turned on the news instead of my usual 3rd Rock from the Sun. I cried through me whole shift and then again on the phone to my Mam while I walked home. I stayed off social media and was glued to all news websites all day and exhausted myself with crying but I didn't know why - it's not like I personally lost someone or witnessed it and felt guilty for being so upset.
After falling asleep at 5pm hugging Baker I woke up to a message on Facebook asking if I'd been along to photograph the border bridge as it had been lit up in tricolore. I grabbed my camera, coat, tripod (as it was pitch black outside) and ran along the road to the side of the river. It was pouring down of rain so I only had a short time to get the photo I wanted without ruining my camera. This is what I managed and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it.
I didn't want to leave. It was so beautiful and so peaceful compared to the scenes in which it was a tribute for.

Nov 15th. Day 319.
This little guy is poorly. Like his Mam he suffers from allergies and this week has been pretty bad for us both. If I could take away his aliments (right now it's affecting his right ear), I'd gladly deal with it so he would be back to his normal self.

Nov 16th. Day 320.
After a busy day of housework and blogging I went to bed with my Disney brochure (although it's already booked and not via the brochure) to look at the pictures and think about how Disneyland Paris is coping this week.
I have been appalled by some of the selfish people who can do nothing but moan that the park was closed. People have lost their lives, lost their family members and friends and you are annoyed that your spoiled child doesn't get to meet Elsa? Get your priorities straight and show some respect. Yes I know what a Disney holiday costs, I've done it a few times now believe it or not, but if I had been there this week I'd have been respectful and appreciative to the staff who have gone to such amazing efforts to still keep you all safe and entertained in the hotels.

Nov 17th. Day 321.
I love when someone from across the world orders one of my prints! <3

Nov 18th. Day 322.
It's crazy how quick the weather can change. One minute it was bright and dry and the next I thought my windows were going to smash! It wasn't just rain however, but hail stones!! Ahhh!

November 2015 // Days 309 - 315

Nov 5th. Day 309.
Remember, remember the 5th of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I think however these days people should remember, remember the old people, children, veterans and animals who are scared to death tonight. When I was little I remember being taught the history of the day and the importance of remembering, but these days it seems people only know it as 'bonfire night' and an excuse to let off fireworks from now Halloween until New Years.
If you must enjoy the beautiful displays, please support local organized events, consider buying the silent fireworks so you can see but not hear them or better yet - just enjoy the ones at Disneyland.

Usually my little man couldn't care less and has even watched fireworks from the window but as he was sleeping a particularly loud and crackly one went off and spooked him so although he never, ever sleeps in our bed...tonight was different. With Jake being at work until after 10 and me going to bed at 8 for work, this little guy had to come for hugs until Daddy got home <3

Nov 6th. Day 310.
I was taking some photos of my Hogwarts letter ready for a full blog post on my other blog about it and thought I'd grab a shot of this super cute card that the lovely seller included for me! I may frame it as I love the quote.

Nov 7th. Day 311.
Little did I realize I would end up with 3/4 photos of this guy this week haha. I had to try and find others for other days as you'll see but this was actually the only thing I took today last minute. My sweet sleepy man hugging his Dad.

Nov 8th. Day 312.
Lion King esc sunrise anyone? haha This is just one of many pluses of being up at 6am every morning. Is there anything more beautiful to walk to work in than this, no cars and lots of birds?? <3

Nov 9th. Day 313.
'Video print screen alert!' Okay so yep, this was another day where if I hadn't taken a still from a video there would have been another video of the B-man... I actually spent 3 hours this morning filming a video of my Disney clothing collection, however everything except the shoe portion wasn't usable and so I deleted it lol! Think I'll stick to the blog :P

Nov 10th. Day 314.
This may not look like anything to you, but as my Mam, Baker and I were walking along the river this evening a ginormous flock of Geese flew over head. Unfortunately my settings were set for photographing something completely different so by the time I got sorted this was the best I could manage to capture.

Nov 11th. Day 315.
Finally, after days and days of saying I was gonna get this done - I got it done!! Not much longer birdies, it just has to set then you can munch away :)

October - November 2015 // Days 302 - 308

Oct 29th. Day 302.
Today was the day my Hogwarts letter finally arrived. Only 14 years after my 11th birthday, the letter I knew should have been on it's way to me got here. Judging from the funny stamps etc all over the envelope I would bet on saying that for my year Hogwarts must have attempted to use the muggle postage system and it didn't go so well!
Thankfully I got in touch with a lovely lady who helped to re-direct mine my way :) Her service does have a small charge but for the work she does it is extremely reasonable. Look out on my main blog in the coming weeks for a more in depth post and a cheeky coupon code that the friendly lady gave me when she heard I had planned to blog about it.

Oct 30th. Day 303.
When Jake is home and using the big TV (and Baker and I don't want to sit upstairs) this is our movie watching set up!

Oct 31st. Day 304.
Happy Halloween World! Jake,Baker and I had a lovely night together having pizza, watching a movie and chilling, before I had an early night (as always haha) ready for work in the morning.

Nov 1st. Day 305.
Does this look like a November sky?! What a stunning view my old bedroom at my parents house has. Straight out to sea with a plethora of birds. Just beautiful. The 3 of us took a trip 'up the road' to my Mam and Dads house for Sunday lunch and it was lush!

Nov 2nd. Day 306.
Again - is this November?! It actually stayed dry long enough for me to get a handful of Baker's toys and blankies washed and hung out! I always love being able to hang washing out, but especially so when it looks so cute! Notice that Baker is especially into tiny toys, which is so funny, but he is extra gentle with all of his toys for a dog.

Nov 3rd. Day 307.
Ahoy there fog! Before Mam and Dad headed away for a couple days I had a lovely walk along the river with Dad and Baker! I LOVE when it's supposed 'bad weather' as a lot less people bother to walk their dogs meaning we can go out without the worry or stress of running into anyone. This being a 2 minute walk from our front door makes it extra awesome. I had to include both photos as we saw so many amazing creatures in the short time we were there and I needed to remember that. <3

Nov 4th. Day 308.
Not the prettiest of photos admittedly but the past day and a half has been spent getting the winter clothes out and organizing photo albums on my external hard drive so it was this or nothing!
